Bellydancing is a low-impact aerobic workout, incorporating stretching, isolation and resistance into the fluid beauty of dance that's been with us from earliest times. A true artform based on traditional and historic dance movements, bellydance is a form that can provide a positive exercise experience for those with both expansive and limited physical capacities.

Javarah's classes focus on authentic Raks Sharqi, including Egyptian and Lebanese technique. Javarah's upbeat teaching style incorporates low-impact aerobics, stretches, isolation and resistance into play and dance drills. Focus on muscle control and layering movements through choreographies & improvisational dance. Increase muscle tone, flexibility & endurance. Explore your Dance Presence with Javarah's expert guidance. Many students experience increased confidence, positive body image, and of course - camaraderie. There is something in belly dance for everyone!
