Saturday, July 21 & Sunday, July 22, 2007 10am to 9pm Mediterranean Fantasy Festival at Hiawatha Community Center in West Seattle ~ The fabulous Babs (Babylonian Ensemble) host two full days of dance on two stages, and the inimitable Saqra presents workshops. This is the largest bellydance and middle eastern dance event in the Pacific Northwest. Come to 2700 California Ave SW, at the crown of West Seattle, to enjoy performances free to the public, plus vendors from all over with dance items of every type. All dancers are welcome to sign up to dance at the Hafla. Individual or duets - 7 minutes; Troupe (3 or more dancers) - 10 minutes. Dancer call-in about a month before each event.
